The location is by no means a coincidence, because there is an elective affinity between what the MUDEC represents and our CONTEMPORARY CLASSIC philosophy. This important choice implies great creativity and international contemporaneit, an open mind to the new frontiers of gourmet cuisine, representing a new challenge to continue along our path of success in the food and wine sector, where Enrico Bartolini is recognised as being one of the world’s great chefs.
The restaurant is decorated in the simple but also refined style that has always been our signature. The bespoke white wood paneling is by Riva Mobili D’Arte in Meda, while the lighting design is by Catellani&Smith, creating an elegant and joyful effect.



The restaurant offers a journey through the culture of fine food and wine, ranging from the BE CONTEMPORARY tasting menu, to the ENRICO BARTOLINI CLASSICS, to seasonal novelties. The 45 euro light lunch formula offers the choice of a seasonal or themed ingredient.

I was adamant in wanting to bring with me the entire team I have worked with for so many years. Not least Remo Capitaneo, the sous chef with whom I have always had a great affinity, and Sebastien Ferrara, the highly experienced maitre d’ and sommelier on the team since September 2015.

Mudec - Bistrot

Our style and quality also permeate the bistrot, which has been given a makeover to provide a smart offering with the utmost attention to detail, from breakfast to gourmet lunches and “contemporary classic” cocktails, combining a traditional approach with innovative accents in a way that everyone will admire!
The creations of pastry chef Antonino Maresca bear witness to his constant efforts to achieve harmony and balance between beauty and flavour.


As well as receiving two Michelin stars in Milan, a Michelin star in Bergamo and a Michelin star in Castiglione della Pescaia, Enrico Bartolini is a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs ®,

and the Le Soste ® network, has been a Krug Ambassador since 2013, collabotares with Skelmore Hospitality for Roberto’s in Dubai and in Abu Dhabi and with Dining Concept for Spiga by Enrico Bartolini in Hong Kong.

Enrico has been an EXPO 2015 Chef Ambassador and, during summer 2015, he gave birth to a partnership with La Collina dei Ciliegi to manage the SkyLounge VIP at San Siro football stadium.
