CASUAL RISTORANTE is our vision of Bergamo Città Alta from a contemporary perspective. Our wish is to personalise it to what the city has to offer and adapt it to a broader, foodier target with a more approachable and simplified proposal. CASUAL RISTORANTE offers delicious food, seen from a predominantly traditional perspective but leaving space for innovation, in an informal atmosphere, making it possible to appreciate quality from our Contemporary Classic standpoint.
The architecture and interior decoration by architect Taurian at Tecnoarredamenti favours the use of natural materials in a space divided into two big rooms, a smaller room offering more privacy and a roof garden for use during the warmer seasons, the credit for the lighting design belongs to Catellani&Smith.



The restaurant offers two tasting menus, one for 45 euros that adopts a more casual approach and the other for 70 euros based on fish.

Born in 1988, the young and talented Cristopher Carraro covers the role of resident chef at Casual Ristorante. I was determined to have him on the team because of his huge talent, despite being so young. Marco Locatelli will work with him as maitre d’here.


As well as receiving two Michelin stars in Milan, a Michelin star in Bergamo and a Michelin star in Castiglione della Pescaia, Enrico Bartolini is a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs ®,

and the Le Soste ® network, has been a Krug Ambassador since 2013, collabotares with Skelmore Hospitality for Roberto’s in Dubai and in Abu Dhabi and with Dining Concept for Spiga by Enrico Bartolini in Hong Kong.

Enrico has been an EXPO 2015 Chef Ambassador and, during summer 2015, he gave birth to a partnership with La Collina dei Ciliegi to manage the SkyLounge VIP at San Siro football stadium.
